By accessing or using TripBuddy's mobile application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

TripBuddy is a tourism platform that connects travelers with local services including but not limited to restaurants, tour operators, vehicle rentals, attractions, and emergency support services in Laos and Southeast Asia.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Bookings and Payments

When you make a booking through our Service:

• You agree to pay all charges associated with your booking
• Prices may vary and are set by individual service providers
• Cancellation policies are determined by each service provider
• We process payments securely but are not responsible for third-party payment processor issues

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose

6. Service Providers

TripBuddy acts as a platform connecting users with independent service providers. We do not own, operate, or control these third-party services. Service providers are solely responsible for their services, and we are not liable for their actions, products, or services.

7. Emergency Services (SOS)

Our SOS feature is designed to help users access emergency assistance. While we strive to provide reliable emergency support, we cannot guarantee response times or outcomes. Users should always contact local emergency services (police, medical, fire) directly in life-threatening situations.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by TripBuddy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripBuddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
